I like my best guy friend but he has a girlfriend. What to do ?

Well I started talking to this guy like a month ago, and we've gotten super close, super fast. We talk most days during school and text daily. When we talk he always gives me a big hug whenever he sees me, even when we're just passing each other in the halls. But I know he hugs all his other friends that are girls too. He's really sweet and is the kind of guy who actually cares. && when we text he always says how he loves me and he'll say stuff like "I love you *kisses you*" in a text and stuff. I'm hoping he likes me, but he has a girlfriend which he told me he's in love with and they've been dating for like 5 or 6 months now. Do you think it means anything or am I just wishing? I really really like him. Please give me advice on what to do, I'm clueless =/

Honey, he has a girlfriend. It seems that the word 'love' is being tossed around too carelessly here. I'm sure that right now you do really like him, but I think if you look around a little you'll find someone who really likes you and doesn't already have a girlfriend. Just stay true to yourself and don't settle for a guy just because he texts you with love and kisses. Anybody can text words, but real feelings can't be texted.
