Does she still care?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I dated this girl (let's say liz) for 7 weeks, and because of my stupidity, I lost her. We've been apart four years now, with Liz being the only one getting into a more serious relationship. Until now, she's only talked to me when I started the conversation... But a few weeks ago, I was involved in a car wreck, and was out of school for three weeks. When I got back, she never said hi or anything. Two weeks go by, and I post on facebook I'm getting a jeep as a new car... Thirty seconds pass, and Liz is the first person to comment on it... Something she has NEVER done before.

Skipping ahead to today. On Valentines day, our schools culinary club sells cupcakes for "sweets for you sweetie." I didn't expect to get one, but I did, and guess who it was from. Yet again, Liz has NEVER done that before. Basically, I can't figure out if that gesture was from pity/kindness towards me, or something else. I do still have feelings toward her, but I can never gain enough courage to talk to her face to face. I just don't know.

RomanceClass.com Advice
I think Liz is clearly trying to get your attention. Decide how you feel about that first, and then work up your courage to have a talk with her. If you want to know what is going on, that is really all you can do. Good luck!
