Does my BFF love me?

We've been bffs for almost a year and talk about everything together- including who we like. But I've been holding back because a) I have a crush on him and b) I value our friendship too much to lose it if he doesn't like me back. He thinks he likes another girl, but he flirts with me and everyone else thinks it's time for us to go out. How do I know how he really feels and how do I tell him how I feel without ruining our relationship? Thank you sooo much in advance. I really appreciate it.

This is a tricky one and a lot of us have experienced just this. In fact, movies are made about it (watch When Harry Met Sally).
I believe having a truthful conversation can be a good thing, and hopefully it won't get in the way of your friendship if he doesn't have the same feelings for you. He may indeed, or it may never have crossed his mind.
There is only one way to find out, if you feel it's worth taking a chance on. Be prepared - if he only thinks of you as a friend, he might freak out and back away. Or you could start a beautiful relationship. Think about this clearly, and make your choice. Good luck!
