I left him, I want him back

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I'm 18 yrs old and i can't get my mind off my ex from 2 yrs ago. I have dated/seen people since but none of them compare to him. We broke up because i got scared of a "serious" relationship. I pushed him away and by the time i realized i did want him, he was "over" me.

I have tried various times to talk to him since but it always ends in a fight. He doesn't give girls second chances, but i really do care about him a great deal. I have been around him going to movies and etc. with friends and he still flirts with me but i don't know. At one point like a year ago, he said to his friend that he was thinking about giving me a second chance...but nothing ever happpened.

What can i do to win him back, or at least find out if there could ever be something there again? Thanks!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Your ex really needs to learn a bit about giving people second chances. It's not like you cheated on him. You just said things were too much for you at the moment. If anything, the situation was at least half HIS fault for pushing things too hard. For him to blame you for being uncomfortable with how he was relating to you is sort of hypocritical.

I would keep being his friend and spend time with him, and help him to realize that a great relationship is about two people who are COMFORTABLE with each other and who talk to each other about issues. I have advice here on how to go from friend to boyfriend to girlfriend -

take it slow, and see how things go!
