Dating on an Interview

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Female
I recently went for an interview, I was looking for a job. One of the guy who interviewed me was gorgeous. He e-mailed me when he received my CV. So I have his office number and his e-mail adress. I am really interested and plan to call 'him' to ask him if I still stand a chance to get the job.

Dear, I am really interested to date this guy. Should I write to him or call him talking about what happened after the interview. I have one chance of calling him, how can I show him I am interested. I am not much interested about the job as I am with him. Please advice.

I would really be cautious about making that sort of an advance. That is like dating your boss. He has "power" over your getting a job or not and even if you don't want the job, he is going to take any move you make as an attempt to "sleep your way into the job".

I would contact him casually about the job and then let things lie for a month or so. Then email him to see how the company is doing and build up a contact from there. But definitely give it a solid month before you start the casual chat, so that it is CLEAR that you are not trying to use him.
