I'm Not Comfortable with my Girlfriend
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male I'm 16 years old. Me and my girlfriend have been going out for about 2 months now. Everytime I say something to her or am about to say something to her i feel stupid and I'm afraid that thats what she is thinking too. I really like this girl but everytime i have a conversation with her i walk away with a feeling that I made the relationship worse somehow.
What should I do?
RomanceClass.com Advice Being in a relationship is about being best friends with someone and trusting them completely. You shouldn't be trying to impress them or show off - you should just be yourself, she should be hereslf, and you should support each other because you care. It sounds like you are continually trying to "make a good impression" on her and are treating her like a quest item.
You need to start making an effort to be comfortable just BEING with her, talking with her, sharing with her. It shouldn't be a special thing that you worry about every word. She cares for you. You care for her. She likes you just the way you are, with all your good sides and bad sides. You do the same. So accept that and trust in that.
The more you just do it, the easier it will be. I have advice here -
