Do girls ever want love?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
do girls ever want love?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Heck, most girls dream of love daily! Even if a girl's current relationship needs are just for fun nights out, she still want the love of her best friends. She wants to know her best friends are there for her even if she calls at 2am crying. She probably also wants her parents to love her, to be there when she wants a place to feel happy and safe.

It's not even girlfriends that girls are loved by. Many girls have guys as best friends. Those guys can love the girls as friends without having to "date" them. Love is not a one-person thing. Love is about caring for someone and wanting them to be happy.

If you mean, at a given point in time, does a girl want to MARRY that is a very different question than does she want LOVE. A girl who is 18 and having fun dancing every night may not be in the frame of mind for marriage and kids and taking care of a house. A woman who is 33 and ready to have kids might be very ready for marriage. But none of that has to do with whether she wants to be loved or not. You can love someone without being monogamous, you can love someone without even being intimate. Love is about caring for someone, not about owning them.
