Proposing but We've Never Dated

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I have known a girl in at least 3 years but we have never been lovers or even moved out together for an evening walk or the like. This is because her parents are very strict on guys who want to come to her. However we have been xchanging love cards now and then . I have not propose to her but love her very much. I ask her whether she has a boyfriend and her answer was no and went futher to state that, she is busy with her studies now and do not want to bother herself with those matters.

I do not know whether she loves me or not but she seems very concerned. I want to propose to her but fear that, i may get a 'no' answer. But i do not want to lose her. we stay countries apart and our only means of communication is through internett and telephone. I do not know what to do now. I nkow a lot of guys have attempted her but without success. Can i assummen that, since she always return greetings and love ed-cards i send to her, she loves me? I can not go to her.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You can't propose to spend your entire life with someone you haven't even dated. The whole point of dating is to test the waters, to see if you two are compatible as romantic partners. If you really do want to be with her, then find a way to move near her or visa versa. That would be the appropriate next step.
