He's Got New Friends

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 months and we love and care for each other very much. He is also best mates with my best mate but recently he met some guys who we think have been a bad influence on him. He always wants to do things with them and my best friend is afraid that he likes them more then her.

I seem to be torn between the two of them because i think its good that hes making friends but bad that hes ditching my best friends for them as she has been really depressed about it. What should I do?

It's very easy to get jealous - but to be honest, guys need guy friends and girls need girl friends. This is in ADDITION to opposite sex friends they might have, but it is in fact important. Your mate shouldn't get too obsessed over who likes who "best". The world is big enough for a lot of friends. Your boyfriend can like to do guy things with his guy friends - and still like to do things with her, too.
