About six months ago my world came to a hault

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
About six months ago my world came to a hault, my boyfriend of two years ended it out of the blue. We were the closest we had ever been and I did not see this coming. As if this wasn't bad enough he started dating again within a month! He brought this girl home to his family, which didn't go well. I had met this girl, and had feared her from the beginning. Now, it is six months later and I sit thinking the worst. Thinking they are going to get married, or engaged, and I just can't deal with that! I know this is extreme. He is coming home for the summer and so am I. I need help to stay strong and away from him, and ways to get over it and move on. I am still hurting and i need to let go! ANY advice would be great..thanks so much for your time!

I take it from the last part of your post that you are both away at school during the year. Well, long distance relationships suck. Lonliness sucks. It sounds to me like it just sucked too much for him to handle.

I remember when I was in school, I was dating a girl at another school and I got angry at her for not being around (which is irrational, but that's how I felt).

Whatever the worst is, it certainly isn't him finding happiness. The worst is you not getting on with your life.

How do you stay away from him... some ideas would be to look up your other friends and hang out with them. Do stuff with family, too.

Best wishes,
Marc
