I Want a Boyfriend!
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female I relly want a boyfriend, but I am VERY shy. I've been trying to force myself to think of every guy I see as a potential boyfriend, but it's not working. I get all flustered and can't really think when I go up to guys and talk so I usually write a note.
Just recently, I wrote a note to this cute guy I see everyday at school, but he didn't like me and it really hurt my feelings. I'm sorta interested in this other guy now and I wanna get to know him, but i'm scared to write him a note for fear that he might dis me like the other guy and i am SOOOOOOO tired of rejection.
My senior prom is coming up next year and I want my date to be with someone that I've been with for a long time. What do I do?
RomanceClass.com Advice You're seeing guys as potential targets to attack - and it's no wonder that they are not enjoying this approach. GIRLS do not like being attacked by guys - and guys don't like it either. You need to step back and take another approach to this.
A boyfriend isn't a trinket to acquire, to show off to friends. A boyfriend is a guy you CARE about. You can't just grab any guy and turn him into a boyfriend! You have to develop a FRIEND and get closer and closer to him.
So do you have any male friends? That should be your most important goal right now. Stop throwing notes at random males. Instead, make male friends. There must be males around you. Get to be friends with a few. I have a TON of advice on my site on how to do that. If you work on that for the nest few months, the rest will work out.
