Sister Vs: Sister

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Okay, see I have liked this guy C, for a year and a half. He told me he liked me too. He kept leading me on. He would always tell me how beautiful I was, he held my hand, and he even kissed me! Now, he says he likes my sister. And my sister likes him. They have BOTH gone behind my back and loved each other. I dont know what to do! Im so hurt, and I dont feel as if my heart will ever be whole again! I cant forget C!

What do I do? I never thought my sister would betray me like that! Or him? I mean come one! He likes my freaking SISTER! I want him back!

RomanceClass.com Advice
I know this isn't easy to take, but believe me it happens ALL the time. Friends fall for friends. Friends fall for boyfriends of their friends. Friends fall for the girlfriends of their friends. Your social group tends to have the same likes and dislikes, and it spends a lot of time together. So a lot of swapping of partners goes on.

It's important to remember that any relationship is made up of two people and BOTH have to be fully into each other for it to work. It can't work at all if one person is in love and the other just isn't. For whatever reason, this guy clicked more with your sister than with you. It sucks. It makes you feel second best. But you are NOT. You are simply different than she is which is a good thing. And somewhere out there is a guy who will love YOU and not like your sister. It's time for you to find that guy - and then you will know what true happiness is.
