I Need to Stop Being Jealous

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I recently got into an arguement with my boyfriend of almost 6 years about me being jealous and almost broke up. He gave me the option to change or lose him forever, so i decided to change. I know I'm jealous and I want to change. I've thought about many ways that I can change. I thought of a different solution to this jealousy problem then I have in the past and that is: I thought that anytime I feel a jealous spark coming on to ask myself WHY am I being jealous and is it worth it? Please let me know if I can work on it that way or if there are other possible solutions. PLEASE help me!!!!!
