Do Ages Matter?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I believe i have found the girl of my dreams. She beautiful in everyway and we have been best friends for ages. we share everything together. She knows i fancy her badly and i have asked her out recently. She is currently considering and im letting her take her time. However i am nearly 17 and shes nearly 15. In your opinion do you think ages matters?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Two years really isn't a big deal in high school - lots of seniors date freshmen and that is a 3 year difference. What matters is that a pair takes their time and really builds up the friendship first - which you two have done! I think you guys are doing this perfectly and hopefully she will say yes and give it a try. She might worry that she is going to risk the friendship - but all the best relationships begin with friendships. So this is a normal fear that every happy couple has to go through, and face.
