I've been working with this guy for seven months, and I really enjoy talking to him; we don't work together that often, but when we do, I enjoy his company. I want to get to know him better. In the past when I've done this, it hasn't worked out, and I'm afraid if I tell him, I'll get the same results. What should I do?

Every guy is different, so even though you've been shot down before, it doesn't mean that this time it won't work. Ask him to do something mild, like check out the new restaurant down the street. If you're casual about it, you can make it less of a DATE and more of just hanging out after work. Then you can build up into a relationship instead of laying all your feelings on the line at one time.
