Why cant i be normal and relax?

Why cant i be normal and relax?my problem is that i me and my ex are seein each other and not other people in tryin to get back.now my problem is i am bein treated for anxiety problems.everytime my girl is away to do somethin with her friends i fear the worste.for example she is going to a bbq with friends.When she says this i get all hot inside go all quiet and think that she is going to meet guys start to like them and end up cheatin on me.its the same when she goes out to pubs or discos.i tell her how i feel and she said i am bein so stupid and to stop worryin.And that she and her friends go out only to gossip and dance.she is gettin frustrated that i keep askin her questions about her nights out.not normal ones like did you ave nice time or that.its ones like did u get chatted up or did you behave.i know deep down she will but just dont trust other guys and feel its only a matter of time.I am on a course of tablets called citalopram.I am even neglectin alot of stuff i do because all i can think of is what she is doing.its really gettin to me feelin like this.please help.what can i do to stop all this thinkin
