I really want to take our relationship to the next level
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
Theres a girl on my swim team who is a really good friend of mine. Her family comes over to my family's house on thanksgiving, and the fourth of July, etc. We've been friends for about 2 years now. I know she used to like me (from her friends, and just the way she acted around me), but as soon as I started to like her, it seemed to stop. I can't tell if she likes me the way she used to, or just as a friend. We go to movies all the time together, but I still can't tell. I really like this girl, and I don't know how to tell if she likes me too. Sometimes there are just awkward moments, and I don't know what causes those either. Sometimes it seems like we are really close, and others, it seems like she just doesn't feel comfortable. I really want to take our relationship to the next level, but I really don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You're great friends with her, so you should be able to open up an honest conversation with her that goes something like, "Did you ever think that you and I would end up hooking up?" all casual like, as if you weren't really concerned with the answer. See what she says and that will tell you a lot about where her head is.
