The Girl from New York
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female I live in new york, but the guy i like lives in Israel. I go to Israel each summer and this is the first time i have developed feelings for him. I've seen hime twice this summer and i cant get him off my mind. he is 2 years older than me and i asked him who he liked, he gave me a name. all my friends keep saying ask him out the worst that can happen is he'll say no. the guy is a REALLY close family friend and i dont know if i should ask him out or not, i know i only see him like once a year but we talk a lot online and i dont want to make anyithing awkward happen. i've been flirting with him, and i have read a lot of flirting tips so i think he is flirting back. talk about mixed signals. so, should i ask him out for one night and go back to ny, or should i just keep fantasizing?
RomanceClass.com Advice "Nothing ventured nothing gained." Sure, why not ask him out? As your
friends suggest, the worst thing that can happen is he says no. Warning,
however, long-distance romances are very difficult.
Best wishes,
George
