Mother interferes with daughter's love life

my gurl and I have been having sex for about 4 months. and her mom just found out. I'm 19 and she is 17 almost 18. her mom said she is to young to have sex. she's had sex before me at the age of 15. her mom just found that out. I don't see why her mom thinks her doughter isn't old enough. we have been together for a while now. recentlly she broke up with me cause she now wants time alone, and doesn't want to be commited to one person. I think her mom wanted us to break up. Why doesn't she want to be commited? she told me so many things like " I want to be with you forever." What should i do? try to make it work or find another fish in the sea? thanks!

Having her mother in the way makes it more difficult for you. But the first hurdle is your ex-girlfriend. Perhaps promising not to have sex would help both your girlfriend and her mother be more open to starting the relationship anew.

If none of this works, then, in your words, it's time to find another fish in the sea.
