Thinking of old girlfriend

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I'm 21,My ex girlfriend hurted me all of the time and I think I loved her.It was the worst 2 depressing months in my life.
I love my current girlfriend and about a week ago I started thinking about the ex in a strange way of remembering what happent and comparing her to this one and it's bothering me cause I would like to love my current one fully.
As you see - I'm a bit confused and I'm affraid that I might not love the current as she deserves and loves me.
If you need further details I would be happy to share them.
I'm really confused and tired of it - what can I do ?

RomanceClass.com Advice
It is perfectly natural to think of past girlfriends and compare them with your current girlfriend. Don't let this confuse you too much. Your ex was bad news and you should be glad to be rid of her. Concentrate on your new gf and give her all the love you have.

At some point you may feel so trusting of your new girlfriend that you could discuss your concerns with her. That would be good if you could do it without stirring up trouble.

Things are going well for you!
Best wishes,
George
