Playing with fire

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I have known this girl for over 4 years. Her and I always get along and have become very close. Her and I never get into arguments and always get along. Her and I always e-mail each other or talk. Here is the catch she is my best friends girlfriend. They have 2 kids together but he always treats her bad. She always tells me about him doing this or doing that. She keeps telling me she is ready to leave but never does. We do not tell him about us talking or e-mailing because he is very jealous of her. So we sneak around with out him knowing. I love the kids and her dearly she knows this I think but is afraid of hurting him. She always seems to talk more and is happier when I am around. Her family likes me more also and it does not help because they keep telling me they like me better. I am confused I don't want to hurt no one but I am afraid something is going to happen. Please any info would be appriciated.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You are playing with fire as you probably know. Your best friend is going to find out one of these days. What do you think will happen then? It is understandable how this situation arose and I am sorry you are in it.

The best advice I have to offer is something you probably don't want to hear. You need to stop the secrecy and become a regular friend again with the woman. If she decides to leave her boyfriend, you will probably be there waiting for her. But make sure your secret relationship is not the cause of the breakup.

Good luck!
George
