Be friends first

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I have this girl that I like. We kinda went out back in gr 6 which kinda didn't go so well. Then we hardly talked or did anything but be around each other. That only lasted for 2 months then it end before summer. Since then things have been on and off of me liking her and still wanting her back. Now we're in gr 10 things has changed so much by then, back then we didn't know what we were doing and were young. Now I think things are different. Its been 4 years, we talk on the phone quite a bit from 2-4 times a week for minutes or even hours. I have the same photography class as her and i sit next to her, school just started today and we hardly talked in the class it was almost like I wasn't there all she did was talk to her friends on the other side of her. I got me thinking kinda got me down. Yes I like her again and would like her to be my girlfriend. We don't really have a close friendship. We don't go out with each other, just once in the summer but talked on the phone quite a bit but no deep conversations just general things. I just want to know what you think can happen between us.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You need to become better friends before expecting her to be your girlfriend. Continue calling her and gradually things will develop as they will. If she turns out to be a friend, great! If she turns out to be a girlfriend, greater!
