Moving to Florida

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
Hi my name is "T" and me and my boyfriend of 10 months are having a problem....we both never been in love B4 and when we meet each other we fell in love very fast with each other, things are so great we have so much in common even talk about marriage. I love him soo much but here is the problem I'm moving to Florida for school and he has a great job up here. He knew that I was leaving B4 we got serious but now he is soo sad all the time. we finally had a discussion about the situation and he basically said that the relationship isn't going to work but if i stay we can't be together because he doesn't want to be the reason for me not accomplishing my dreams. I feel sick thinking about it..also i have a five year old child and i won't do anything to take away from her. so i don't know what to do he is my first love and the first man i ever was with after my daughter was born...

RomanceClass.com Advice
I am sorry you are in the middle of this difficult problem.

Basically he is saying that whether you leave or stay, he feels the relationship will end. This sounds suspicious to someone who doesn't know him as you do. But you said he was sad about this, so he is probably speaking from a loving heart.

There is nothing I can advise which you haven't already thought of... first would be that you go to school where you are instead of going to Florida; second, he could get a job in Florida. You could also go to a counselor who might help you figure this out.

If nothing works out, I feel so very sorry for you.
Best of luck,
George
