How to get my ex back?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Well, I am a gay male, age 21, and me and my bf just broke up. Our first date was a year ago, we dated once in a while, but didn't become official boyfriends until 4 months ago. I really loved, and still love him, but I think I expected too much out of him, I was his first bf, and I kept pressuring for him to "pay attention" to me and things like that, but anyways, we just broke up, because, although, we took a couple weeks break from eachother, because things werent doing so well, and we agreed it would be best, so he could prove to me during that break that he wanted to be my bf, and during the break, he slept with someone else. He told me this, and i extremely overreacted and went off on him. He told me he still cares about me and still wants me in his life as a friend. Some of the things I said to him were kind of hurtful and I regret it, but we are still friends sort of, but I feel like he's totally lost all feelings for me. I know that you would just tell me to get over it and move on, but if you were in my shoes, and loved this person so much, how could I get their feelings for me to come back, and possibly give our relationship another chance?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You are fortunate that you are still friends. You can take advantage of this to reintegrate yourself into his good feelings. Be everything a friend can be and perhaps the old vibes will return.

Be sure not to display the kinds of behavior that drove him away from you. Perhaps you felt justified, but it didn't work out to your advantage. With any luck, you two will be back together soon. I hope so.

Best regards,
George
