My Ex is Being Friendly Again

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
Recently, me and my ex returned to good terms and we are now fairly good friends again. I asked her to the formal and she said yes so we're going to go as friends. However, recently I feel she's behaving very weirdly. She jokes that she misses me all the time, something she never does, and i just play along. however, just yesterday she asked me to go clubbing with her and our friends and i dont know what shes trying to get at. She was never like this before.
Please help

RomanceClass.com Advice
It sounds like she's starting to realize what she lost when she broke up with you (or you with her) and wants to bring you back into her life more fully. She's probably nervous about just dating you again but wants to see if things really will work if you spend more time together.

I'd take the opportunity to sit down with her and talk about your relationship. Say that you've always wondered what it *really* was that broke you up before, and talk about the reasons. It might be that you guys have learned since then and can address those reasons. If so, that'll probably come out while you talk about it, and you can both decide to give it another try.

Talking is key to any relationship, so even if it's uncomfortable to start the discussion, give it a try! I have tips on how to have this sort of discussion on the site, and it's REALLY worth it to practice at serious talks. They can come in very handy ...
