Long distance breakup

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I am a 21 year old college student. My girlfriend and I have been seeing each other for 5 months. We dated for about a month before we made it official. She lives at home and I am away at college. She has been coming up to visit me on her weekends off and we talk almost evernight. But I didn't hear from her in 2 days and was very concerned so I called her a couple times the day she broke up with me, and she said it freaked her out. Then she said we need a break because she is stressed out with work and a class she is taking. I called her the next two days and finally she called me back. I told her that I was extremely hurt because it was so sudden, and that I didn't know if I could be with someone like that. I love her so much and there is nothing that I wouldn't do for her. I have tried to call her in the past couple days, with no response from her. It has been extremly hard on me because we're 3 hours away from each other and it feels like she is shutting me out of her life. I could wait for her forever but I'm so confused if we will get back together.I can't get a hold of her since I called her last. I am extremely worried that I said the wrong thing, and that she will never call me back. I love her to no end. Please help.

RomanceClass.com Advice
I am sorry you are in this predicament. I can understand how miserable you must be Is it possible she has met someone else? Or perhaps the long distance is too much for her to handle. In any case, you are going to have a lot of trouble changing her mind when she won't return your calls. If you can afford it, send her a dozen red roses signed I love you. Also write a letter and mail it to her. Sometimes the written word can do wonders.

Best wishes,
George
