He has a girlfriend

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I've been friends with this guy for over a year now, but we do not see eachother much. I do not have a car yet, and he lives about 45 min. away. He has a girlfriend now, but their relationship is not stable. They broke up, and he said that "he'd never go out with her again" and he felt "much better now that they are apart". They have just got back together, and she does not like me whatsoever, recalling that he said that he was "attracted" to me. When they were broken up and even when they were together he would put his arms around me and stare at me while he played the guitar. After so many months, we have still kept in touch despite the distance. He knows that I "did" like him, but thinks that I do not now. A year ago, we talked about going out but I admitted that we had just met and needed to really get to know eachother. He said that "maybe someday" we could "get together" but now he is back with his girlfriend. So I'm wondering if he does/did like me, and if I should attempt to hang out with him more?

RomanceClass.com Advice
As long as he has a girlfriend, the best you can be is a good friend. Try to keep it at that level and if the girlfriend disappears, you will be on hand.

Good luck,
George
