Wants him but he has a girlfriend

ok i have been friends with my ex for 5 yrs. we dated when we first met and i took his virginity, i was also his first girlfriend. i broke up with him so he could have some time to grow up. we have messed around like everytime we see each other, but have not actually dated because i was waiting for him to come to me. we love each other and have always made it clear throughout anything. but now he has a girlfriend who is a virgin and i am so jealuse. this is the first girl he has dated in 4yrs(since me). i love him and want him back, but i cant have him back and we cant be just friends, because when we are together we switch back into relationship mode. i dont wanna ruin things with him and his new girl, and i wanna stop hurting. its been 4 months and i still cry at night. how do i let him go and get over him without being me and him hating me?
