Wants his ex back

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Hi I am an 21 year old male, and i want my ex back. We dated for two years in high school and then we broke up in grade 12. We remained friends and even best friends and during the first year and a half of after breaking up we were on again off again and she even had a boyfrined and at once point had a crush on my brother. The last boyfrind she told me it wasn't anything serious. Just recently is where the probelm began, I thought I was over her and then in decemeber I started really falling in love with her again. I thought maybe she was falling for me too and then on new years she met some guy and now they are going out and it is really upsetting me because I discovered that I love this girl more than anything. I have told her that and she says she is not intrested in going back out. But we seem to have a comfort level with each other that is higher than any comfort level that most best friends have. Also She always comes to me when she is upset and i play hero. She knows how I feel and I really want her back. She says she is really happy with this new guy. After threee years and this new guy Is there any chance? What should I do to try and get the love of my life back?

The best you can do is remain best friends with her and hope that someday she will come back to you. Another choice is to move on with your life. I would recommend the first option at this point since you are still closely attached.

Good luck,

George
