Tell her you care

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Hi...I've been really good friends with this girl for about a year now. A little after we became friends, I became attracted to her and told her so. I knew she already had a boyfriend but felt I had to tell her. She said she liked me but couldn't leave her boyfriend.
We remained friends and began to go out to eat, see movies, and hang out at each other's houses together. After watching a movie together on my bed where I payed more attention to not making a move on her than the actual movie, she told me that she had wanted me to kiss her. We sort of continued our friendship, kind of knowing how each other felt but never admitting it.
Now, however, she has been going through some relationship trouble and has been talking to me, as we really are best friends. She says she likes another guy who liked her last year, but she's not sure how he feels now. I'm almost positive this is me, but not 100% sure. I really would like to be with her, but don't know how to approach the situation without jeopardizing our friendship...help me...

She said she wanted you to kiss her. So, you might want to let her know that you care for her still. Just say "I have strong feelings for you" and see how she responds. That will give you your answer.

Good luck,
George
