How to fix it

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
me and this guy have liked each other for a very long time we finally decided to try this and we only lasted a week i like j* alot but i wouldnt let him get close to me i was almost deliberately pushing him away because my ex hurt me and i feel awful for not giving this a fair shot i want to try this again but how do i prove to him im not completely awful because the whole time we were dating i gave him the cold shoulder but this time i want to do it right but i was so mean to him i dont know how to fix it now

It's not all that difficult to make the first step toward getting back together. Have a good talk with him and explain to him what you said here. He will almost certainly be willing to give it another shot.

And, even if you don't get back together, you will feel better for trying.
