Ex is still a friend

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
my ex and i were together for 1yr and 3mths and we broke up like 3mths ago.we were sexually active n we're both 17yrs of age .i loved him deeply i still do actualy and i no he loved me to. before we broke up he told me that he wanted to go on a brake to see if he stills love me but 1wk before that he told me that he loved me and this was the first time it felt real .3wks after that he told me that he thinks its best we done because he lost that love along the way. so we end up being friends and we decided to have a sexual relationship. i asked him if he had a girlfriend and he told me no so we had sex a couple of times then i found out he had a girlfriend so i ended it and we remained friends.i asked again why he broke up with me and this time he told me that he find that the relationship was getting to high for him and he wasn't ready for that but i thought he wanted that because we use to kinda plan our future together. somtimes i feel that he still has feelings for me but i don't know if it's just me wanting him to feel that way or if it's true. and it hurts alot being his friend because we talk about his girlfriend n he tells me things like he doesnt have real feelings for her only sexual feelings .

RomanceClass.com Advice
You seem to be in a good place. You are still friends with him and share confidences with each other.

If you still care for him, you will be there for him when he splits with his new girlfriend or she splits up with him.

So keep up doing what you are doing and wait for him.

Good luck!
George
