Jealousy--I get a sick feeling in my stomach

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I have been with my boyfriend for a little over a year, but I still get horribly jealous of his ex-girlfriends, so much so that I get a sick feeling in my stomach. It's beginning to affect our realtaionship and I was wondering what I could do to maybe stop this or help me with this issue.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Jealousy can kill relationships since being jealous means you don't trust the other person. It also means you don't have enough self-respect which also causes a relationship to suffer.

Try this: whenever a jealous thought or feeling comes over you say to yourself "He's my boyfriend, he loves me, and I deserve it." Do this 100 or more times and eventually those thoughts and feelings will give up because they realize they no longer have control over you.

Hope this helps!
