Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
please please help me.i am in big truble
i am 19 and in love with a boy who is 21
and many girls are crazy about him.we are fried for 3 months.we live in canada
i think ,for him any of these girls is not important. he only talks to me..and tells me all his secrets.i tought he loves me too.his behaviour showed it.
2 weeks ago i gave him a letter and told him i really love him.then we went for break.after break he gave me allter and said he still loves a girl in russia.the girl who left him.and he is willing meet her again.
i really felt low.so i lied .i said me tto .i am not ready because i could not forget my ex.
i forgot my ex and i left all boys around me for him.
what should i do now.forget him or can i do something to help him forget his ex.i really love him and i can not forget him

The best thing you can do is to be a good listener and ask him about Russia and his ex.

As he explains these things to you, he will begin to transfer some his feelings over to you. The more you talk the better. Of course, do this in a normal manner or he will feel something false coming out of you.

He misses his girlfriend partly because she is part of his homeland. There isn't much you can do about this. You could take an interest in learning Russsian from him and learning about the history, literature, and culture of Russia.
