Weekend visits at college

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Hi, I go by the name 'K'. I have this wonderful guy who I love and loves me back. I love every little thing about him, from the way he acts to the way he thinks. I care and love him so much and he says he loves me just as much ( but I love him more =D ). We've been going out for about two years now, and I'm getting ready to go to college soon. We're not ready to break up yet, but the college I'm going to attend is 75 miles away from where he is. He doesn't seem all that willing to drive an hour or so every weekend while I'm in college... He loves his car and gets annoyed about how many miles he puts on that thing. I don't have a car to get to him, but if I did, this wouldn't be a problem. I'd be more willing to drive long distances just to see him... I even told him that I'd wait for him.

He's just so willing to give up on us and is ready to break up. Can there be some other way to deal with this? I'm not ready to give up.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Perhaps he is overwhelmed by the idea of trying to meet every weekend.

One idea is that he could drive only ever other weekend; or, perhaps you could take a bus to see him every other weekend.

Trying to see each other every weekend sounds a little bit too much given all the schoolwork etc. that you will be juggling.

Hope this helps some!
George
