He's a jerk

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
Hello,
My ex and I have been keeping in contact now for a few months. I never wanted to keep in contact so i leave it up to him. Hes the one who calls me,text messages me , or aim messages me online. The only problem with this is, we never talk about anything except our past sex life. He only talks to me when he wants to remember how i did something. He has even made references to the fact that "I'm the best, and he misses the way i do....blah blah". Point why this is all so horrible is mainly because he has a NEW GIRLFRIEND! I used to play along with him, by remembering the good times. I even sometimes used to tease and flirt back with him. But last night i decided that i was fed up and wanted to end talking to him like this. When i said i felt bad for his gf and i wanted to stop the sexual conversation, he got extremely mad. Then he proceeded to put up an angry away message. This man is 24 and im just wondering why in the heck is he making it out to be my fault? Did i do the right thing? PLEASE WRITE BACK!
