Teenage boys

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I've been hanging out with this guy for over a month now. He's a senior and I'm a sophomore in highschool. We were never officially "dating" even though we both wanted to. I'm really shy and sort of intimidated by his past relationships, since i've never even had a boyfriend. Anyway, I wrote him a letter explaining how I felt and that I wanted to take things slow. Since then he hasn't responded and it's been over a week. He won't return my calls or text messages. He's been hanging out with other girls lately too. When I see him around, he smiles and sometimes waves at me like everything is normal. He won't communicate with me at all, and I don't know how to read him. I really like him, and he knows this, but I'm not sure if the feeling is mutual anymore. Please tell me what you think of this situation, Thanks.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Teenage boys are not always developed maturely.

Your experience with this boy is probably a result of your writing him the letter asking that you take things slowly. This may have confused the boy and made him standoffish to you.

What you should do is to walk up to him and ask him what's going on. But this probably won't happen because you are too shy. And even if you did, he probably wouldn't know how to explain his feelings.

So you are stuck holding the bag, not knowing what happened.

Sorry you are in this situation!
