but i'm way too shy and scared of rejection.

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I'm 18 and he's 19. I'm graduating this year and he stayed an extra year for more classes. I've like him for a little while now, he's sweet, charming, not to mention good looking, he's shy and doesn't say much but when he does it's funny. As far as I know, he's not interrested becuase he's leaving for school in a few months, but it's something I'm ready to deal with. I had told him that i was only interrested in being friends becuase he figured out on his own that i liked him, and i didn't want him acting wierd and being distant. Anyway, I'd like to ask him to my prom, I mean I don't have a chance on going out with him atleast he'd be my date for prom night, but i'm way too shy and scared of rejection.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You better start living your life now before it's gone!

Everyone is shy to one degree or another so that's not an excuse. Remember that "nothing ventured, nothing gained" and "it is better to have loved and lost that to have never loved at all."

What this all means is get up on your feet, swallow your foolish pride and ask him to go to the prom with you. He will be delighted. So, be BRAVE and do something even though it isn't easy!

Good luck,
George
