The problem I am having now is he is hanging out with 2 of my close friends

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I was with a guy for 3 1/2 years. He was two-faced with my friends and would be nice to them to their faces but say stuff about them when we were alone. This was the cause of many of our fights.. we broke up and I moved on with my life, not wanting to see him or talk to him. I have even been dating someone for 6 months now. The problem I am having now is he is hanging out with 2 of my close friends. Both in which he would say horrible things about. But he is so good at pretending that I said something to my friends about how its bothering me and they say "but he's so nice!" "We're his friend too!" WHAT DO I DO! ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY! that they can't see through him!

RomanceClass.com Advice
My advice is to just stay away from the subject.

He is history, and your friends are your friends. So keep things cool with your friends so that there are no hard feelings.

And, give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he does like them but can't keep his mouth shut about what he thinks of their bad characteristics. That's his problem.

He may be trying to get you back through your friends so you will have to close your ears to what they say about him.

Life is to short to worry about stuff like this... enjoy your life, don't complicate it with trivial things.

Good luck!
George
