should I forget him or should I try and become friends with him and see if I could get him back?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My boyfriend broke up with me 2 months ago. We had dated before during highschool when he was 15 and I was 18 he dumped me right before I went off to college. The summer after my second year I got with another guy. my ex and I spoke all of my second year of college. During my second year summer I broke up with the other guy because he was emotionally hurting me and he said that he never loved me. That hurt me because he used me. Through out the relationship my ex and I talked about what I was going through. right before my spring break my current boyfriend calls and tells me he thinks we should take a break. When I came back for my spring break he and I flirted and made out. so the first day that I came for summer break I dumped my current boyfriend and my ex and I got back together. he said that he would never use me or treat me like my other boyfriend had. We dated for 11 months I was still in school when I recieved a letter saying he was leading me on and that he didn't want to be my friend because it would be to akward. My question is, should I forget him or should I try and become friends with him and see if I could get him back?

Only you know the answer to that question.

The method you suggest is the correct one--try to become friends and win your way back into his heart again.

My puzzlement is why you would want to get back together with him... but every heart is different so you have your right to do whatever you want.

Good luck!
George
