His friend told me that he has cheated on every girl he has ever been with

My boyfriend and I have been together for quite some time now and we are both very jealous people. A while ago we were having some issues and he admitted that at that time he considered breaking up with me. At that time I had a strong feeling that there was someone else in his life. He has a close friend (married) that he has know since childhood, who recently told me that the girls I was worried about were girls my boyfriend has had a history with. His friend also told me that he has cheated on every girl he has ever been with, but when i confronted him about it he said that he had never cheated before. What should I do? I want to trust him but i dont.

Talk with his friend again and get as many names times places etc as she knows about his current activities and then check them out with the people involved. This is not paranoia or excessive jealousy, it is simply following up on information given to you.
You will quickly find out whether there is anything behind the rumors or not.
If he is innocent, you owe him a big apology.
