Is it possible to break the hymen with a finger? My boyfriend at the time and I were "petting", this is where the male puts a finger or two inside the female, and it hurt and I bled. I had sex for the first time ever with my current boyfriend and because I didn't bleed he's doubting that I was a virgin before him. I need to prove to him if this is possible.

There are a lot of things that can break the hymen... what you mentioned is one thing; using tampons is another; sports, riding bikes, horseback riding is another.
