Can we be friends, for now

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Ok well its been 7 months with my boyfriend in complete happiness. And we can both admit to that. During those months I've become so attached to him and its feeling like he's apart of my life because we talk online and on the phone all the time and see eachother often. Just recently things have changed and he says "Can we be friends, for now, unless I dont know, it just feels like were friends" ..Although just before this he tells me he loves me and even when I asked him that he says he does. I don't know what to do because he is everything to me now and we've been through so much to get here and I really do not want to loss him. I love being with him. Please what can I do? He has told me that I am the only good thing that has happened to him. Help me get him back and realize what he is giving up!!!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Give him what he wants... and more.

If he wants to be friends then be the best friend possible and don't forget to carefully keep the lines of love open too. But don't be too forward with the love or it might drive him away.

It wouldn't hurt to pull back some from him so he gets the idea of how it might hurt to lose you. But don't make him feel bad. It's not an easy thing to balance all these things, but you need to find a way to do it.

Only pull back for short amounts of time just so he gets the idea.

Hopefully some of these ideas will help. I hope so!
Good luck,
George
