he makes eye contact, but then hangs his head low like a lost puppy
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female I've known this guy since high school, and we graduated together and even go to the same college now. I saw him very recently and we talked for a good five minutes. When we saw each other, both of us had huge smiles on our faces, and we seemed very happy to see each other. Whenever he talks to me, he makes eye contact, but then hangs his head low like a lost puppy. Is this good or bad? He does seem interested in me when we talk, but what signals can I look for that distinguish friendly from flirty?
RomanceClass.com Advice He probably picked up the lost puppy head move from one of his relatives and has been doing it since childhood.
You can't draw a line between friendliness and flirtaciousness. I can't tell how he fields from what you have described. I would guess he is being friendly, after all five minutes is pretty fast to start flirting.
Since he obviously likes you, why not ask him to hang out or go out as friends.
Good luck!
