Do you think he will regret finishing for the reasons he did?

Hi again George. Thanks for your quick reply to my last question ref my ex. I know you said perhaps I should call him just to chat about every day life but not about relationships. I agreed with him I would not contact him and that if he wanted to for any reason he could contact me. It was left for him as I felt I had done everything to get back with him. I travelled to see him e.t.c It's hurting so much that each day passes and he doesn't contact me. Do you think he will regret finishing for the reasons he did? I haven't spoke to him since he rang me over a week ago. I don't want to be pushy or desperate! Is it possible that people can break up and get back after this amount of time really?

Most of your questions are toss-ups. Will he regret? Maybe.

Can a breakup be repaired? Sometimes.

You don't wan't to be desperate but isn't that what you are? A promise not to call him is not sacrosanct... wait another week or so and then call him and ask him how he is doing and make small talk. It's really your only shot unless you don't care enough about him to break a somewhat forced promise.

At some point you will have to give up, but I don't think you are quite there yet.
