My girlfriend broke up with me one month ago and we have kept in touch

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
My girlfriend broke up with me one month ago and we have kept in touch, even though it has been seldom. She has started seeing someone else now and she says she doesn't know if it's serious or not. We have talked about our relationship on a few occations, and she shows a little bit of reluctance to try again, but said she would think about it. How should I handle the fact that she is still seeing him, and I'm sure telling him what we talk about, and hopeing that she is concidering our relationship again? Should I continue to initiate contact, or should I leave her to her new relationship? She was my life for a year and a half, and I can't bare the thought of loosing her to someone she only met a month ago.

Hurt and confused.

RomanceClass.com Advice
If she is willing to meet, and since you are so committed, it would be a shame for you to give her up now.

Take advantage of the opportunity to catch up on small talk, keep it light, but be sure to make it clear that you still love her and are still waiting for you if she so decides.

Make the conversation loving, trusting, cheerful, and honest. There must be something in your dating experience that she remembers fondly. Try to bring that out of her.

Good luck in this venture!
George
