Now he thinks that I have lied about everything.

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I met this guy online and we had been dating for two years. Throughout our relationship I lied about many petty things. Now he thinks that I have lied about everything. Right now he says that he wants to be friends and only friends. When I ask him if he loves me he says that he does but he doesn't want anythin with me right now because I have lied to him. I made a promise to him and told him that I wouldn't lie to him and I stuck by it. One day tho my friend's ex IMed me while I he was on my sn and the guy told him that supposedly I call him and stuff and it's not even true. I can accept the fact that he wants to be friends and I know that he loves me but I don't know what to do. He offered to go out with me on my birthday but he said we can't kiss or do anythin. Just recently I went to his mother's house to have dinner. His mom says she knows that he is still in love with me and so does his sister because she said that he could not stop looking at me the whole time. Sometimes he tells me that he doesn't want anything with me and why do i call him if we're not together but then other times he says that he wants to be friends. I think he loves me and everyone else does what do you think and what do you think is a good way to show him that i have changed my ways?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Of course, the big thing is to never lie to him again.

Try to figure out why you were lying originally--was it just a habit or trying to avoid touchy subjects? Explain to him as much as you can exactly why you were lying.

Time will cure this problem as long as you remain friends and close. Eventually he will trust you again and take you back.

All you can do now is wait, behave, and hope.

Good luck!
George
