She then stopped talking to me, and i havent heard from her in over a year

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
i dated this girl for 3 yrs throughout high school. we spent most of are time together, and were very in love. everyone thought we were going to be together for ever. we never got sick of each other or annoyed with each other. we would do anything for each other, and we did. At the end of my senior year i broke up with her bc we were having problems. She wanted to fix them and i didnt want to. we didnt talk for two months. we started talking again and hung out alot. we were going to get back together but i wasnt sure. She then stoped talking to me, and i havent heard from her in over a year. i tryed calling her, writing emails sending cards, but i still cant get her to speak with me. I am very close with her mother and she has told me she is dating someone else, but wont let herself get as close to him and she was to me. I asked her mother why she wont speak to me, and she doenst know. i miss her more and more everyday, and it is very hard for me. i wish that she would speak to me, and i hope you can help me.

RomanceClass.com Advice
She is dating someone else and hasn't spoken to you for a year.

You've tried every trick in the book to get her to talk to you.

Her mother offers little hope.

Don't you think it is time for you to accept reality and move on?
It will be easier on you in the long run.

Good luck!
George
