Recently, my boyfriend of 5 years broke up with me

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
Recently, my boyfriend of 5 years broke up with me because he was "once in love with me and fell out of love." He says he longer loves me but still care very much for me. Also, he has been having a lot of financial problems and court issues that stressed him out and by having me there just doesn't make it any better. He tells me he doesn't love me anymore but still wants to see and talk to me because he still cares very much. In addition, i caught him with someone else the other day and his excuse was that he wants to forget about me and the only way is to see someone else. Does he really not love me or is he confuse? I know he tells already but for some reason, i'm feeling a different vibe from it. Keep in mind, he wants to move out of state to start everything else fresh.

RomanceClass.com Advice
I agree with you.

He cares for you more than he is willing to admit. Too much stress is the real cause of the breakup. He realizes that subconsciously and seeks your companionship to help him live his life.

You keep on doing what you are doing... be there for him and be a friendly ear for him to share his feelings.

Consider whether you would move out of state for him.

Let him know you still love him so there is no doubt in his mind.

Good luck!
George
