my girlfriend broke up with me 2 weeks ago

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
my girlfriend broke up with me 2 weeks ago and the reason i got was she didnt think she needed to be in relationship right now. i sent her a orchid the day before and i told her it was coming and she emailed me telling me she would pay me back for it. im not sure if i should email her back. i really like this girl alot and im just not sure on how to go about all of this. i had told her i was falling in love with her and she didnt feel the same but i told her that was ok. we got into an argument the week before she dumped me and she asked for a little space. i asked her two days before she broke up with me if she still liked and wanted to date me and she said yes. then two days later that changed. she really didnt give me a good reason for the break up so thats why im real confused. any advice would be helpful thanks

Is she 21 or so?

I've noticed a huge number of requests for "space" happen at 21.

You can only find out what is going on in her mind by talking with her as closely as you can and by staying friends with her.

She may not even know herself fully what her feelings are right now.

Give her the space she requested and hope for the best.

Good luck! George
